Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Maksim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Roscoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maksim comes to the cage accompanied by RUSSIA ANTHEM. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maksim darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Roscoe is trying to get back to full guard.
Roscoe keeping hold of Maksim's head, controlling as best he can.
Maksim works his foot free and advances to mount.
Maksim controlling the position easily from mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maksim's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Maksim avoids the attempt from Roscoe to control.
