The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting MacAndrew counter with a right hand.

It looks like Alexandre Garcia has been cut.
Garcia shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has MacAndrew pinned against the cage. MacAndrew gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
MacAndrew looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Garcia takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garcia shoots in for a double leg but MacAndrew sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexandre Garcia. That's going to take a lot out of him.
MacAndrew throws out a leg kick but Garcia moves out of range and MacAndrew only half commits.
MacAndrew cracks Garcia with an open hand slap.

MacAndrew scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and MacAndrew counters with a left to the body.
Garcia is breathing heavily.
MacAndrew digs a good body shot into Garcia's ribs.
Alex MacAndrew is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

MacAndrew feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Garcia sprawling to the canvas! Garcia rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can MacAndrew finish him?!

Garcia is rocked!

MacAndrew closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Garcia! MacAndrew dives in looking to finish! Garcia is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Alex MacAndrew tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
