Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Richard Blood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stacker Pentacost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stacker Pentacost will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard Blood!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Stacker Pentacost!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Blood or perhaps it was just good defense by Pentacost, which made it look bad.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Pentacost checks a leg kick.
Pentacost lands a high kick!
Blood bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Blood fails to land the takedown.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blood is defended easily by Pentacost.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blood is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Blood shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pentacost as he avoids it easily.
Blood fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pentacost avoids it really well and circles away.

Pentacost has closed the distance and engaged Blood in a clinch.
Blood can't get the takedown.
Blood tries for a takedown. No joy.
Pentacost lands a body punch in the clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Blood shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Pentacost defends it nicely.

Blood drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Blood displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pentacost throws out the jab.
Blood shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pentacost pinned against the cage. Pentacost gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pentacost wants to counter with a clinch but Blood pushes him away.

Blood has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Pentacost regains guard immediately.

Stacker Pentacost showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Pentacost stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pentacost wants it to stay on the feet.

Blood tightens his grip and picks Pentacost up, before dumping him to the ground. Pentacost manages to land in guard.

Blood doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Pentacost lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Pentacost displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Blood.
Pentacost throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Blood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pentacost as he jumps to the side.

Blood rushes Pentacost and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Richard Blood has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blood is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

It looks like Richard Blood has been cut.
Pentacost lands a hook that snaps the head of Blood backwards.

And that's the end of the fight!
Stacker Pentacost comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pentacost has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
