The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aldo drives through and clinches with Truck against the cage.
Truck is struggling to control the position.
Truck tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Aldo avoids it.
A bit of stalling here from Aldo.

Truck has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Aldo is trying to keep an underhook but Truck manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Truck wants to lay and pray for a moment but Aldo keeps working.
Aldo is trying to maintain the position but Truck is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Truck controlling the action here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aldo tries to roll over but Truck keeps him under control.

Aldo looks like he's trying to stand up.
Truck is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Truck knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aldo on the ground.

Aldo is pulling down on Truck's head. It's preventing any offense from Truck, at least for the moment.
Aldo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Truck controls the pace.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Truck throws a sloppy head kick

and Aldo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Truck keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Aldo's efforts to push away.
Aldo fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Aldo manages to break the clinch.
Tommy Truck is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Truck throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Aldo.
Truck throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aldo.

Aldo takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Truck is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

and Truck counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Truck moves into range and clinches up with Aldo.

Truck breaks from the clinch.
Truck tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Aldo was well out of range. Poor timing from Truck.
Truck scoring well with a low kick there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Truck throws a nice looking combination but Aldo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
We've been informed that Aldo has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Truck defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Aldo.
