Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genesuis Silverkush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Genesuis Silverkush is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Genesuis Silverkush!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson feints and as Silverkush raises his hands in defense, Jackson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Silverkush has a closed guard, preventing Jackson from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson stands up over Silverkush, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Silverkush wants to stand but Jackson is controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Silverkush wants to stand but Jackson is controlling the position.
Jackson trying to control but Silverkush is working from the bottom.
Jackson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Silverkush's head.

Jackson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Silverkush is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jackson, into his guard.

Silverkush trying to control the position from guard on top but Jackson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Silverkush stands up and waves to Jackson to follow him.

That's time! Jackson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Silverkush lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

and Jackson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Silverkush's guard now.

Silverkush manages to escape and get back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Jackson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jackson.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jackson is looking to take a break and control but Silverkush is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jackson in particular looking to stall.

Jackson shoots for a takedown but Silverkush saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Jackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silverkush swivels and escapes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Quinton Jackson will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Silverkush lands with a nice combination. Jackson backs away looking to recover.
Silverkush stalks Jackson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Jackson's face. Jackson staggers backwards, shaken.

Silverkush shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Silverkush showed some decent athleticism there.

Silverkush is nestled in close to Jackson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Jackson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silverkush's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silverkush's back!

Genesuis Silverkush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
