Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vasily Oflifanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodion Nurullin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oflifanov misses the body punch
and Nurullin counters with a left and a right that stings Oflifanov.
Oflifanov throws a right and a left that Nurullin avoids nicely.
Oflifanov slips a jab and a cross from Nurullin.

Oflifanov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Nurullin's guard.

Nurullin manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Rodion Nurullin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nurullin has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Nurullin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Oflifanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nurullin wants to stand and escape but Oflifanov is having none of it.
Oflifanov is fighting to break Nurullin's control of his arms but Nurullin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Oflifanov wants to stand but Nurullin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Nurullin is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Oflifanov defends well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Oflifanov is in close to Nurullin's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Oflifanov wants to control from the top but Nurullin keeps moving.
Oflifanov throws a big right hand that misses.
Oflifanov is looking to stand up but Nurullin won't let him.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Oflifanov drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nurullin is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Oflifanov dives into side control.

Oflifanov wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nurullin, who protects the arm well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Nurullin is looking to reverse the position.

Nurullin explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Nurullin shoots in but Oflifanov avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Oflifanov looks to land a combination. Nurullin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Nurullin shoots in looking for a takedown but Oflifanov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nurullin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Oflifanov feinted with a counter takedown.

Oflifanov clinches up with Nurullin and pushes him back against the cage.

Nurullin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nurullin darts in looking for a takedown but Oflifanov gets double underhooks and turns Nurullin into the cage.
Nurullin throws a head kick but Oflifanov moves out of range.

Oflifanov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Oflifanov wants to stand but Nurullin has his arm trapped.
Nurullin is breathing heavily.
Oflifanov tries to advance to mount but can't.

Oflifanov has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Nurullin is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Oflifanov yanks on the arm and Nurullin is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Oflifanov.
