Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ramon Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Funnie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes to the cage accompanied by Jiu Jitsu: Vai Finaliza!. Funnie has chosen Doug Theme Song as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Funnie throws out the jab.

Gracie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Funnie lands a body shot.
Funnie tries to work over Gracie's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Gracie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Funnie scores with a shot to the side of Gracie's head.
Funnie misses with a hook from the clinch.
Funnie lands with a light punch inside.

Gracie pulls guard.

Gracie is looking for a triangle but Funnie pushes his legs off easily.

Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Funnie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Funnie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Funnie trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Gracie working for a triangle but Funnie defends it easily.

Gracie is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Funnie defends well.

Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Funnie passes into side control.
Gracie tries to bench press Funnie off him but Funnie keeps the position.
Gracie trying his best to control but Funnie has mounted him.
Gracie manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Gracie moves into full guard.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Funnie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Funnie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gracie looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Funnie is defending well. Gracie quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Funnie has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gracie celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
