The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diggler feints and as Darmody raises his hands in defense, Diggler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Darmody is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Diggler trying to land knees to the body.

Darmody escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Darmody lands with an uppercut that bounces Diggler off the cage and back into range.
Darmody stuffs the takedown attempt from Diggler. Diggler gets slowly back to his feet.
Darmody lands with a hook. Diggler tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Darmody throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diggler.

Darmody drops Diggler with a beautiful combination! Diggler stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Darmody is looking for the KO!

Diggler is rocked!
Diggler slips a jab and a cross from Darmody.
Diggler is still on wobbly legs! Can Darmody finish him?
Nice sprawl there from Darmody as Diggler shoots in.
Diggler seems to have recovered his senses.
Diggler tries to clinch up.
Diggler fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mickey Darmody has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Derek Diggler.
Darmody lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diggler circles away quickly and effectively.
Darmody definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Diggler's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Darmody connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Diggler scrambles back to his feet.

Darmody drops Diggler with a straight right hand, right on the button! Darmody follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
