Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morrison Erikksen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Boskins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Morrison Erikksen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dwayne Boskins!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Erikksen.
Boskins defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Erikksen.
Boskins swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Erikksen shoots in and drives through. Boskins sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Morrison Erikksen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Boskins darts in and clinches Erikksen up against the cage.
Erikksen swings wildly with an uppercut but Boskins uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boskins scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Boskins presses Erikksen against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Boskins jumps into guard, dragging Erikksen to the mat.
Erikksen tries to free his leg and advance position but Boskins is retaining full guard.
Boskins pulls Erikksen in close to his closed guard and prevents Erikksen from doing any damage or advancing position.
Erikksen wants to control from the top but Boskins keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
We've been hearing good reports from Erikksen's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Boskins seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Boskins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Erikksen manages to get himself to full guard.

Erikksen is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Boskins with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Boskins throws a big elbow that misses.
Boskins is working Erikksen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boskins working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Boskins controls from within his opponent's guard.
Erikksen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Boskins on the ground.

Boskins thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Erikksen is trying to control the position but Boskins postures up.
Boskins sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Boskins postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Boskins stands up over Erikksen, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Boskins trying to control but Erikksen is working from the bottom.
Boskins throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Boskins is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Boskins trying to control the position from guard on top but Erikksen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Boskins sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Erikksen's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boskins lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Boskins is looking for a kimura here.

Boskins seems to be looking for submissions.
Boskins throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Boskins wants to lay and pray for a moment but Erikksen keeps working.

Erikksen is defending against the submission attempts here by Boskins.

Boskins has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Boskins trying to control the action but Erikksen is working from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Erikksen is looking to improve his position.
Boskins drops an elbow to the side of Erikksen's head.
Boskins works his way into full mount!

Boskins get's back to his feet.
Boskins lands a slapping body shot.
Erikksen fails with the takedown.
Erikksen is breathing heavily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Erikksen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Boskins to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Boskins works over Erikksen with some ground and pound from guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dwayne Boskins dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Boskins clinches up with Erikksen and pushes him back against the cage.
Boskins with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Boskins breaks from the clinch.
Erikksen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boskins sprawls well. Boskins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Erikksen gets slowly back to his feet.

Boskins looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Erikksen!

Boskins tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
You can see the frustration on Erikksen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boskins prevents Erikksen from getting the reversal.

BOOM! Boskins connects with a massive shot to the dome!


It looks like Morrison Erikksen has been cut.
Boskins with shots to the head and body - Erikksen looks very uncomfortable down there.
Boskins postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Erikksen is out cold - huge knockout for Boskins!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dwayne Boskins!
