These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spunkly throws a combination that misses
and Magnusson counters with a straight right hand.
Spunkly lands with a shot to the body.
Spunkly is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Magnusson.

Magnusson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Spunkly tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Magnusson is in Spunkly's guard.
