Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lowkie Erwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Higgs Boson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erwin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Welcome To The Jungle. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erwin lands with a cross.

It looks like Higgs Boson has been cut.
Lowkie Erwin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Erwin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Boson.
Boson looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Boson throws a head kick that misses.
Boson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Erwin throws a body shot but no joy.
Erwin throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Boson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boson throws a leg kick but Erwin moved away.
Erwin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A big left from Boson misses.
Erwin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Erwin closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boson misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Boson takes an elbow to the temple.
Erwin misses with an elbow strike.
The referee calls for Erwin to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Boson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Boson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Erwin stands up from Boson's guard - Erwin perhaps looking for a knockout.
Erwin is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Boson.
Boson throws a jab but it's blocked by Erwin.
Erwin works Boson's body with a nice hook.
Erwin stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Erwin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Boson.
Boson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Erwin cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice defenses there by Boson.
Erwin throws an overhand right that drops Boson like a sack of potatoes! Erwin dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

After winning the bout, Lowkie Erwin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
