Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Pervis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gustav Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nelson Pervis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gustav Berg!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pervis shoots in but Berg avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Pervis sets himself, and Berg steps forward looking for the clinch! Pervis avoids it this time.
Berg has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pervis finds it's way round the side to connect with Berg's head.
Pervis seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Pervis scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Pervis misses with a low kick.
Berg misses with a hook. Pervis ducked under it nicely.
Pervis half committed to a counter leg kick.
Berg throws a jab but it's blocked by Pervis.
Berg loads up on a big right hand but Pervis slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pervis fails with the takedown.
Berg fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pervis manages to avoid it.
An attempted straight right counter from Pervis misses the target.
Berg looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Pervis dives in and grabs Berg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Berg pushes down on Pervis's head and hops out.

Berg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pervis.
Pervis dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

It looked like Pervis was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Berg jabs Pervis right on the nose. Pervis blinks but takes it well.
Berg throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Berg misses the shot to the body.
Berg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pervis moves away.
Pervis moves away from the strike by Berg.
Pervis tries to counter with a takedown but Berg is quick to defend against it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Nelson Pervis will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Pervis lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

letting Pervis counter with a right hand.

Pervis shoots in but no luck this time.

and Berg takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Pervis comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Berg stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Pervis is on him like rabid pit bull! Berg slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!

An out of breath Nelson Pervis thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
