Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kajtek Leniec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kajtek Leniec!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julio Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leniec shoots in looking for a takedown but Rivera manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Leniec's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Rivera looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Leniec closes the distance and clinches.

Leniec ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Leniec no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Leniec is looking for a triangle here but Rivera uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Leniec is breathing heavily.
Rivera postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Rivera tries to score with some ground and pound. Leniec controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rivera wants to control but Leniec is keeping him busy.

Rivera is working to tighten his grip on Leniec's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Leniec has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rivera is really squeezing tight and eventually Leniec passes out! Rivera breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
