The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edkins connects with a crisp jab.
Bodahl dives in and grabs Edkins's left leg, looking for a takedown. Edkins pushes down on Bodahl's head and hops out.
Bodahl has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Edkins misses with a few strikes there.
Bodahl tries to close the distance and clinch but Edkins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Edkins cracks Bodahl with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bodahl looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Edkins finish him?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bodahl goes for a double leg but Edkins avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Edkins continues to drive forward.

Bodahl got a little sloppy there for a moment and Edkins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bodahl has managed to get both his arms back between Edkins's legs - danger averted.

Edkins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bodahl's guard.

Bodahl manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Edkins manages to get himself to full guard.
