Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Issumatar Tariaksuq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walton Kunz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tariaksuq comes to the cage accompanied by Tanya Tagaq - Uja. Kunz has chosen Dutchland Heil as his entrance music. Walton Kunz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Walton Kunz!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by Tariaksuq.
Issumatar Tariaksuq seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kunz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tariaksuq is looking to counter with a body kick.
Kunz blocks a head kick by Tariaksuq.
Tariaksuq throws a lazy body kick
enabling Kunz to counter with a crisp jab.
Kunz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tariaksuq.

and Kunz counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Kunz seems to be looking for submissions.
Tariaksuq tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Kunz has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Tariaksuq is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Kunz wants to finish this one by submission but Tariaksuq is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kunz.

Kunz has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Woodhouse's. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Tariaksuq tries to hold on but Kunz postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kunz is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Tariaksuq can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Kunz tries to control but Tariaksuq wriggling away.

Tariaksuq suckers Kunz into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Tariaksuq is now in Kunz's guard!

Kunz looking for a guillotine here but Tariaksuq defends easily.

Kunz is looking for a triangle but Tariaksuq pushes his legs off easily.

Kunz has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tariaksuq should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kunz has tightened it up now! Tariaksuq should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Walton Kunz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
