Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Can Wupass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tadamasa Yamada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Can Wupass has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamada tries to clinch up but Wupass circles away and keeps his distance.

Yamada takes the fight into the clinch.
Wupass using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Yamada has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Wupass pushes off an fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Yamada wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Wupass tries for a takedown. No joy.
Wupass tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Yamada smiles and moves away.
Yamada misses with a hook. Wupass ducked under it nicely.

Wupass clinches with his opponent.
Wupass prevents Yamada from breaking the clinch.
Yamada throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Yamada is fighting off a takedown attempt but Wupass is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Yamada to the mat. Yamada regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Yamada looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Yamada has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wupass can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Yamada wants to stand and escape but Wupass is having none of it.
Wupass throws a big right hand that misses.
Wupass has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Wupass wants to control from the top but Yamada keeps moving.

Wupass distracts Yamada with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yamada had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Wupass is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Yamada Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Wupass's back instead.

Yamada doesn't have the hooks in and Wupass manages to turn into his guard.

Wupass keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yamada's head.

Wupass is sitting in close to Yamada's body. Yamada has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wupass is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wupass is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Yamada.
