Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hayden Mills (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kajtek Leniec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mills tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Leniec gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Mills holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Mills.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Leniec prevents Mills from breaking the clinch.
Mills wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Leniec has him pressed against the cage.
Leniec pulls guard.
Mills postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mills has gone for a leg lock! Leniec slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mills's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mills is adopting a defensive guard.

Leniec trying to control the position from guard on top but Mills is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mills is controlling Leniec's posture.
Leniec wants to control from the top but Mills keeps moving.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mills connects with a nice short shot to Leniec's temple.

Leniec is looking to control Mills's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Leniec avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mills is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Mills scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Mills trying to control the action but Leniec is working from the bottom.

Leniec manages to get to full guard.
Mills lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Leniec dives in for a single leg takedown but Mills sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Mills keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Mills's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mills is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Leniec.

Leniec looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mills is fending him off so far but Leniec persists. Nope, Mills circles away and we're back to standing.

Mills is trying to trip Leniec. He has hold of a leg but Leniec is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mills persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Mills is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Leniec can do to turn this around?

Mills drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mills jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mills might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Mills makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Leniec tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mills is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Mills drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Leniec manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mills has Leniec in his guard.
Mills looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Mills's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Leniec connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mills. Mills circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Leniec shoots in and gets a takedown into Mills's guard.
Leniec working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Mills controls Leniec momentarily but Leniec frees himself.
Mills wants to sweep but no luck.

As Leniec tries to get set, Mills tries to push him back and clinch up but Leniec manages to avoid the attempt.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Leniec wants to pass to mount but Mills is defending the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Leniec just misses with a punch to the body.
A counter left hand to the body from Mills misses its target.
Leniec tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mills defends well and Leniec ends up having to push Mills into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Mills wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Come on Mills - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Mills pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Leniec shoots in but Mills avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Leniec takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Leniec gets a clinch.
Mills misses with a knee strike.
Mills looking to throw knees to the head but Leniec is blocking nicely.
Leniec changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mills fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Leniec throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
As Leniec tries to get set, Mills tries to push him back and clinch up but Leniec manages to avoid the attempt.
Leniec looks to score with a jab to the body but Mills is just out of range.
Mills drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Mills lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mills goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Leniec has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mills but great work by Leniec.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Mills tries to improve position but can't.
Leniec tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Leniec throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Mills works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Leniec seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mills does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that's the end of the fight!
Kajtek Leniec comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Leniec has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
