Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fredric Whitehead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teu cu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Ren Mimura and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Whitehead gets caught flat footed, as cu shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Whitehead manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

cu tries to kick Whitehead off in order to stand up. Whitehead Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Whitehead wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by cu, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on cu's face as Whitehead controls the position.
cu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Whitehead. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

cu is stalling here. Whitehead is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! cu seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Whitehead has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Whitehead's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Whitehead has hold of cu's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! cu tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Whitehead cranks the arm and cu screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from cu, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
