Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walood Kassab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tigey Maquigregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kassab comes to the ring accompanied by Merauder - Life Is Pain. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maquigregor drives through and clinches with Kassab against the ropes.
Kassab has clasped his hands together around Maquigregor's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Maquigregor tries to bench press Kassab off him but Kassab keeps the position.
Kassab misses with the ground and pound.

Kassab cracks Maquigregor with a big right hand but Maquigregor just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ground and pound from Kassab seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Kassab will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Kassab has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kassab tries to score with some ground and pound. Maquigregor controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Maquigregor takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Kassab has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Maquigregor is still in real trouble! Can Kassab finish him?

A big shot lands for Kassab! That's hurt Maquigregor! Will he recover? Kassab fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Walood Kassab decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
