Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Crump (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crump kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Disturbed- Down with the Sickness. Lopez has chosen Party up in here - DMX as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lopez fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Crump sprawls well initially but Lopez persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Lopez is tying to control. Crump wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Crump preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.

Lopez is looking for a kimura but Crump is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lopez to get the leverage.
Crump looks like he's trying to stand up.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Crump connects with a solid leg kick.
Crump dances in with a quick combination. Lopez is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Crump snaps Lopez's head back. Lopez stumbles backwards against the cage. Crump steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Lopez's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Lopez just didn't come prepared.
