Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hans Schmidtt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Darko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darko has chosen S.C.O.S.A - Flatbush Zombies as his entrance music. Hans Schmidtt has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hans Schmidtt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Erick Darko!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidtt gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Schmidtt lands with a right to the head.
Schmidtt is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Schmidtt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Schmidtt ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Darko moves away.
Schmidtt throws a shot from downtown. Darko moves away and avoids it.
Darko bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Darko has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Schmidtt jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Darko looks for a takedown but Schmidtt sprawls well.
Schmidtt tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Darko manages to circle out of the way.
A jab from Schmidtt misses.
Darko shoots for a takedown but Schmidtt saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Schmidtt misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Darko shoots in for a takedown but Schmidtt shows good takedown defense.
Hans Schmidtt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erick Darko.
Darko dives in for a single leg takedown but Schmidtt sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Darko dives in and grabs Schmidtt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Schmidtt pushes down on Darko's head and hops out.
Darko misses with a takedown attempt - Schmidtt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Darko shoots in but no luck this time.
Schmidtt pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Schmidtt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Darko.
A looping hook to the body misses from Schmidtt. Darko does a little dance to reset his feet.
Darko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Darko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Darko tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Schmidtt swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Darko counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Schmidtt!
Schmidtt is not content to let Darko control the position.
Darko has hold of Schmidtt's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Schmidtt seems comfortable defending it but Darko has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Schmidtt is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Schmidtt is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Darko couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Erick Darko!
A less than humble Erick Darko misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
