The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourque avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bourque throwing a counter right hand but Lesnar manages to avoid it.
Lesnar throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lesnar throws a lazy uppercut
and Bourque counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lesnar throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Bourque counter with a right hand.

It looks like Silverback Lesnar has been cut.
Lesnar moves into range and connects with a jab.
Good exchange - Bourque coming out on top.
Lesnar throws a big shot that misses.
Bourque steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lesnar.
Lesnar swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
enabling Bourque to counter with a crisp jab.

Bourque drops Lesnar with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lesnar looks back up at him and smiles so Bourque waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lesnar missing with a left hand there. Bourque was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bourque is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Bourque lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Lesnar falls backwards - clearly groggy! Bourque dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
