The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johns moves into the clinch successfully.
Johns blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Anton postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Johns is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Anton, into his guard.

Anton fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Johns sprawls well initially but Anton persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Johns manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Anton keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

We've been informed that Anton has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Anton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Anton throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Johns escapes and throws Anton's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Anton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johns's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johns's back!
Johns is having to fend off submission attempts from Anton, who is looking to sink in the choke. Anton doesn't have the hooks in though and Johns manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
Anton isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Johns stacks Anton on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Johns!

Anton throws a punch but it's blocked by Johns.
Johns jumps guard but Anton turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Anton is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Johns is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Johns has escaped and now he's on top!
Anton has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johns can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Anton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johns gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
