The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marz tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Leonard counters with a nice double leg into side control. Marz won't be happy with that.
Marz tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Leonard lands a nice shot to the head.
Marz tries to reverse the position but Leonard maintains control.
Leonard pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Leonard is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Leonard extends the arm and Marz is forced to tap!
