PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Avery Slone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clarence Van Gaal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slone shoots in looking for a takedown. Van Gaal tries to sprawl out of it but Slone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Van Gaal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A countering left hand to the body from Van Gaal misses.
Slone really is built like a bowling ball. I wonder if he'd roll if you pushed him down a hill...

Slone closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

That was a close round but I would say that Avery Slone will probably get the nod.
