The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramos takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ramos shoots in looking for a takedown but Markov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ramos's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Markov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Ramos changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

It looks like Edson Ramos has been cut.
Markov cracks Ramos with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Markov bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ramos's head backwards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Markov is pressed up against the cage. Ramos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Markov down to the mat. Markov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Markov, as that shot connected.

Ramos has managed to clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Markov.

Markov swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ramos tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Markov just stands there and leans against the cage.
