Segersell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Luther Pope seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Segersell tries to clinch up.

Pope looks to land a combination but Segersell avoids it well.
Pope scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Pope lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Pope lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Segersell at a distance.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Pope moves into range and connects with a jab.

Luther Pope seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Pope throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Segersell stumbling backwards into the cage! Segersell bounces back off the cage towards Pope, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Pope lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Pope celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
