Lamonier comes to the cage accompanied by Pantera - Five Minutes Alone. da Silva has chosen Aijeke by Wyrd as his entrance music. Larry Lamonier has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamonier misses with a series of wild punches.
da Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
da Silva shoots in for a double leg but Lamonier sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
da Silva tries to clinch up but Lamonier circles away and keeps his distance.
da Silva has a takedown stuffed.
Lamonier drops da Silva with a nice combination! Lamonier dives into da Silva's guard, looking to finish!

It looks like Romo da Silva has been cut.
Lamonier stays in close to da Silva's body and controls the position.
da Silva throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Lamonier not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
da Silva is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
da Silva wants to control the position but Lamonier says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
da Silva is looking for a sweep. Lamonier is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
da Silva is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Lamonier counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Lamonier fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lamonier Rushes da Silva and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! da Silva is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Lamonier Piles on the pressure and da Silva crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
