Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hector Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beleleu Petkovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Not Afraid. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Petkovic moves away.

Petkovic gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Davis to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Davis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Petkovic tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davis looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Petkovic working a defensive guard but Davis manages to pass into side control anyway.
Petkovic tries to buck Davis off but Davis is having none of it.

Petkovic tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Davis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Petkovic takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
A lull in the action here.
Petkovic is working to avoid the ground and pound but Davis connects with a decent elbow.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Petkovic can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee asks Davis politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Davis prefers to stall for the moment though.
We've been hearing good reports from Davis's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Davis lands a decent elbow from side control.
Petkovic tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Davis cracks Petkovic with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Petkovic seems a little lost for a moment, as Davis dominates the positioning.

Davis works to advance to full mount. Petkovic defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Petkovic tries to hold on but Davis postures up.

It looks like Beleleu Petkovic has been cut.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davis loads up with a big shot that hurts Petkovic! He's pulled Davis in close but Davis has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Petkovic survive? More strikes from Davis and Petkovic is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

A relieved looking Hector Davis thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
