The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penaali throws a hook but Jabouin avoids it easily.
A big left from Penaali misses.
A little feinted left hand from Jabouin on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Penaali fails to land the takedown.
A counter left hand to the body from Jabouin misses its target.
Penaali misses with a wild combination.
It looked like Jabouin was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Penaali.
Jabouin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Penaali moves away.
Penaali cracks Jabouin with a good jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jabouin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Penaali working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Jabouin has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Penaali to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jabouin is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Penaali pulls down on the head and he's put Jabouin to sleep! This one is all over!
