The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Daniel Cesar and Matheus Silva.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Gruber fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gruber shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Munchkin sprawls well. Munchkin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gruber gets slowly back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Munchkin pulls guard.
Munchkin keeping full guard, as Gruber tries to pass.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gruber wants to control from the top but Munchkin keeps moving.

Munchkin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Gruber is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Munchkin still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Munchkin has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
