The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jonninen's jab looks to have found its range, popping Valquez under the eye.
Jonninen lunges at Valquez with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Valquez's hand.
Valquez is rocked!
Jonninen lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Valquez tries for a takedown but Jonninen circles away easily
and Jonninen counters with a left to the body.

Jonninen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Jonninen works Valquez's body with a nice hook.
Jonninen throws a body punch but Valquez moves out of range.
Jonninen moves into the clinch.
Jonninen pushes Valquez against the cage. Jonninen is working some dirty boxing. Jonninen pushes off with a quick right hook! Valquez goes down! Valquez tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Jonninen moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
