Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ezra Pittman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonny Nelson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson tried to score with a low kick but Pittman checks it.

Nelson feints and as Pittman raises his hands in defense, Nelson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nelson passes Pittman's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Nelson is working for a kimura but Pittman is defending it quite comfortably.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nelson wants to stand up but Pittman has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Pittman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
It looks like Nelson is going to stand back up.
Nelson is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pittman trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pittman throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Nelson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Pittman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nelson on the ground.
Pittman wants to hold on but Nelson pushes him away.
Nelson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Pittman bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Nelson wants to sweep here but Pittman controlling him for the moment.

Nelson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pittman defends well.

Pittman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Nelson has his foot on Pittman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pittman works his way back into a safe position though.
Nelson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pittman is one step ahead there.

Nelson is looking for a sweep. Pittman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pittman sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Nelson defending well though.
Nelson is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Let's hope that Nelson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Nelson is looking to escape.

Pittman is looking for a sweep.
Pittman is not content to let Nelson control the position.

Nelson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Nelson really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Pittman.
Pittman rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Nelson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pittman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Pittman tries to roll over but Nelson keeps him under control.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nelson connects with a nice short shot to Pittman's temple.
Nelson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nelson is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Nelson has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pittman wants to hold on but Nelson pushes him away.
Pittman tries to control Nelson's body but Nelson pushes him off. Pittman squirms to his side and now Nelson has his back!

Nelson is looking for the choke from the back position but Pittman is controlling his hands well.
Pittman wants to control his opponent's hands but Nelson gets his hands free.
Pittman tries to roll but Nelson sticks to his back.

Nelson has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Pittman! Can he survive? No! He's out! Nelson gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jonny Nelson!
