Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dax Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axl Loria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Axl Loria has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dax Robinson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Loria clinches up against the cage.
Robinson gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Loria.

Robinson turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Robinson looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Loria is avoiding damage well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Robinson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Loria is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Loria wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Robinson throws an elbow but Loria slips to the side and avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robinson tries to move into full mount but can't pass Loria's legs.

Robinson swings around for an armbar but Loria sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Robinson's guard.

Loria wants to stand but Robinson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Robinson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Robinson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Loria gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Loria is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Loria prevents Robinson from improving his position.
Robinson regains full guard. Nicely done.
Loria postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Loria is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Loria slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Robinson is looking for a triangle but Loria pushes his legs off easily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Robinson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Loria was covering up waiting for the punch and Robinson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Loria manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Loria closes the distance and clinches up with Robinson, looking for a takedown. Loria pushes Robinson against the cage but Robinson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Robinson or perhaps it was just good defense by Loria, which made it look bad.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round but I would say that Dax Robinson will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Robinson has Loria pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Loria manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Robinson is looking to take this one to the mat.
Loria jumps guard but Robinson stands there with Loria around his waist. Loria gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Robinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Loria has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Robinson has managed to get both his arms back between Loria's legs - danger averted.

Robinson drops back looking for a leg! Loria is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Loria manages to kick Robinson off! Robinson jumps back into Loria's guard.

Robinson drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Robinson as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Loria screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Robinson! Nice submission victory there!
