PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Peebles Humphrey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Enoch Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Humphrey comes to the ring accompanied by Stand Up - Flobots. Peebles Humphrey had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humphrey takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Peebles Humphrey has been cut.
Thompson misses with a hook.

Thompson moves into range and clinches up with Humphrey.

Thompson throws a leg kick which misses Humphrey's front leg but catches the back leg as Humphrey tries to avoid it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thompson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Humphrey moves away.
Humphrey slips under a jab from Thompson.
Humphrey misses with a head kick.
Humphrey tries to clinch but Thompson is having none of it.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Thompson catches Humphrey napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends Humphrey crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but he's all over the place - can he beat the count?!? 4,5,6,7,8...9...10! He didn't make it back to his feet! Thompson raises both arms skywards and takes in the roar from the crowd!

Enoch Thompson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
