Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Via Dios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Mako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dios comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!

With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Via Dios!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Mako!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mako takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Dios closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mako to the mat! Mako manages to get full guard.

Dios will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mako has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dios can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dios closes the distance and clinches up with Mako, looking for a takedown. Dios pushes Mako against the cage but Mako circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

George Mako showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
