Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iosue Nicu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Nicu's choice of entrance music: It's Dark and Hell Is Hot. Jake Blake could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Iosue Nicu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jake Blake!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Iosue Nicu!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake misses with a leg kick
and Nicu makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Blake throws a body shot but no joy.
Nicu throws a head kick but Blake moves out of range.
Blake misses with a straight right.
Blake connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
It looks like Iosue Nicu has been cut.
Blake fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nicu jabs Blake to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Nicu checks a leg kick.
Nicu has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Blake finds it's way round the side to connect with Nicu's head.
Blake lands a big right hand that sends Nicu crashing to the mat! Blake stays standing though and waves Nicu back to his feet!
Nicu is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nicu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Blake was well out of range. Poor timing from Nicu.
Nicu is still on wobbly legs! Can Blake finish him?
Nicu throws a head kick that misses
and Blake scores with a counter punch that sends Nicu to the canvas! Blake smells blood - he's punishing Nicu with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Nicu has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Blake!
Jake Blake retains his light heavyweight title!
