Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonny Rico!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Angus MacTavish!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rico lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
MacTavish looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
MacTavish walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rico fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jonny Rico seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MacTavish takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
MacTavish shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rico pinned against the cage. Rico gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rico connects with a jab.
Rico goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Rico throws a right hand that MacTavish ducks under and follows up with a left that MacTavish also avoids with ease.
MacTavish takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Rico throws a right and a left that MacTavish avoids nicely.
Horrible takedown by MacTavish or perhaps it was just good defense by Rico which made him look bad.
Rico misses with a head kick.
Rico throws a one two combo.


It looks like Angus MacTavish has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rico lands a two punch combo.
Rico catches MacTavish with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Rico lands with a straight right. MacTavish didn't see that one coming.
Nice jab there from Rico.
MacTavish shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Rico lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rico.


MacTavish is rocked!
Rico digs a good body shot into MacTavish's ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rico throws a series of punches but MacTavish avoids them all with ease.
Rico throws a right and a left that MacTavish avoids nicely.

MacTavish gets caught flat footed, as Rico shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rico passes MacTavish's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Rico is pressing down on MacTavish's thigh, looking to free his foot. MacTavish is holding on for now.
Rico has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Jonny Rico just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Rico lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
MacTavish is looking to clinch.
Rico slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rico throws a right and a left that both miss.
Rico connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Rico scores with a one two! MacTavish had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Rico shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Rico decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rico will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Angus MacTavish's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rico throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rico lands an overhand right.
Rico shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with MacTavish but MacTavish pushes him off and we're back to square one.
MacTavish is breathing heavily.
Rico moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
MacTavish is still on wobbly legs! Can Rico finish him?
Rico drops MacTavish with a naaaaasty hook - MacTavish is in real trouble here! Rico dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonny Rico!
