The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rottwel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Da Silva avoids it really well and circles away.
Rottwel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Da Silva is fending him off so far but Rottwel persists. Nope, Da Silva circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Igor Rottwel has been cut.
Luiz Da Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Rottwel.
Da Silva cracks Rottwel with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Da Silva definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

and Da Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Da Silva jabs Rottwel right on the nose. Rottwel blinks but takes it well.

and Da Silva counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Da Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rottwel looks for a takedown but Da Silva sprawls well.
Rottwel looks winded!
Da Silva lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Da Silva jabs at Rottwel's body.
Da Silva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rottwel is rocked!
Da Silva fakes the body blow, causing Rottwel to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Rottwel goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
