Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Osvaldo Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Derringer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Derringer has chosen The Man Comes Around as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Derringer clinches up with Palmer and pushes him back against the cage.
Derringer manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Palmer gets control of Derringer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Palmer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Derringer drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Palmer manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Derringer has Palmer in his guard.

Palmer throws a strike but Derringer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Palmer has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Derringer drops back looking for a leg! Palmer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Palmer manages to kick Derringer off! Derringer jumps back into Palmer's guard.

Derringer is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Derringer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Palmer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Derringer, into his guard.
