Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yates dives in and grabs Silva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes down on Yates's head and hops out.
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Yates's half guard.
Yates pushes Silva off and gets back to his feet.
Yates gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yates controls Silva momentarily but Silva frees himself.
Silva got a little sloppy there for a moment and Yates has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Silva has managed to get both his arms back between Yates's legs - danger averted.
Silva is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Silva winds up and cracks Yates with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Yates is trying to maintain the position but Silva is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yates tries to get to full guard but Silva has control of the leg.

Yates is staying active underneath Silva, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Silva has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Silva looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Yates covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
