Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jin Ko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Layne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ko comes to the cage accompanied by Flux Pavilion - I Can't Stop. Layne has chosen Game Over By Hed PE as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ko with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Layne takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Ko lands a nice leg kick that just misses Layne's sensitive parts.
Ko throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Layne dives in and grabs Ko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ko pushes down on Layne's head and hops out.

Layne drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ko defends it well.

As Layne backs away, Ko returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Layne might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Ko has got the better of the exchanges.

As Layne tries to get set, Ko tries to push him back and clinch up but Layne manages to avoid the attempt.
