Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Burnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oak Neuro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenneth Burnett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oak Neuro!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neuro changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Burnett looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Neuro scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Burnett to see if he's OK.
Neuro controls the position.
Burnett throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Neuro looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Neuro is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neuro tries to move into full mount but can't pass Burnett's legs.
Neuro is looking to take a break and control but Burnett is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Neuro looks up at the clock and then as Burnett takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Neuro smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Burnett is looking for a sweep.
Neuro wants to control but Burnett is keeping him busy.
Burnett wants to control but Neuro postures up.
Neuro works to advance to full mount. Burnett defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Burnett regains half guard.
Burnett throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Burnett tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Burnett trying to control but Neuro postures up.
Burnett is trying to stand.
Neuro looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Burnett wants to get back to full guard.
Neuro content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Neuro closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Neuro lands in his opponent's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Burnett not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Neuro showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Neuro slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Neuro tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Neuro has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Neuro lands some shots froms side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neuro takes a little break here. Burnett wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Neuro is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Burnett knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Burnett is trying to control Neuro's posture but Neuro avoids it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Burnett is looking to regain half guard here but Neuro keeps moving and retains side control.
Neuro scoring with punches from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Oak Neuro dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



The fight moves into the clinch position.
Neuro using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Burnett has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Neuro connects with a nasty looking knee right to Burnett's face.


It looks like Kenneth Burnett has been cut.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Burnett.
Burnett wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Neuro blocks an elbow strike from Burnett.
Burnett wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Neuro has him pressed against the cage.
Neuro leaning his opponent against the cage.
Neuro's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
With the fighters up against the cage, Burnett throws an elbow but misses.

Neuro breaks from the clinch.
Burnett tries to clinch
and Neuro counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Burnett! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oak Neuro!
