Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karlos Santiago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kotch Chicodemarco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Chicodemarco's choice of entrance music: Sadie Hawkins. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chicodemarco looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Santiago is fending him off so far but Chicodemarco persists. Nope, Santiago circles away and we're back to standing.
Chicodemarco drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Chicodemarco is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Santiago has escaped the position, nice work there.
Santiago is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Chicodemarco tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Chicodemarco trying to control the action but Santiago is working from the bottom.
Chicodemarco moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Chicodemarco has an Americana. Santiago didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Chicodemarco is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Chicodemarco hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Kotch Chicodemarco!
A relieved looking Kotch Chicodemarco thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
