Lion comes to the cage accompanied by Mike Oldfield - Nuclear. Christian Battle is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lion gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Battle to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Lion is wriggling around but Battle manages to pass to half guard.
Battle works his way into full mount!
Lion has given up his back.
Battle is cranking Lion's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Lion! He's tightened the choke and Lion is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Christian Battle!
Bruce Lion spoke after the fight, saying 'Humble in victory, humble in defeat. I realized that 145 is probably not my division. I am ready to move down to 135 and try my luck there.'.
