Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Rottwel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ivan Drago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Igor Rottwel!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rottwel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Drago sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rottwel tries for a takedown but Drago circles away easily
and Drago counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rottwel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rottwel closes the distance and clinches up with Drago, looking for a takedown. Rottwel pushes Drago against the cage but Drago circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ivan Drago has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Rottwel.
Drago shoots in for a takedown but Rottwel shows good takedown defense.

Rottwel shoots in and bounces Drago off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Rottwel makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Rottwel trying to control but Drago is working from the bottom.

Rottwel avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rottwel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Drago is keeping the position for now.

Rottwel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rottwel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rottwel sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Drago's guard.

Rottwel is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Drago sees it coming and defends easily.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rottwel seems to be working for a kimura but Drago defends the submission attempt.
Rottwel blocks the strikes from Drago.
Drago trying to hold on to Rottwel's head to control him but Rottwel postures up.
Drago makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Drago.
Rottwel lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Rottwel wants to control from the top but Drago keeps moving.

Drago had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rottwel defends it easily.

Drago is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rottwel is aware though and is defending well.

Rottwel drops back looking for a leg! Drago is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Drago manages to kick Rottwel off! Rottwel jumps back into Drago's guard.

Drago throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Drago is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rottwel defends well.

Drago lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Rottwel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Drago doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rottwel is tightening it up a little... Drago has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Drago reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Drago taps out! Nice BJJ there by Rottwel!

Igor Rottwel got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
