Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spartak tries to sprawl but Kulik drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Kulik not doing much here.
Spartak keeping hold of Kulik's head, controlling as best he can.
Kulik throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Spartak keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Kulik seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Kulik wants to control but Spartak is keeping him busy.

Kulik drops back, looking for a kneebar! Spartak looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Spartak looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Spartak!
You can see the frustration on Kulik's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kulik looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Kulik scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Spartak manages to mount him!

Spartak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kulik sprawls well. Kulik wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Spartak gets slowly back to his feet.
