The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manik avoids the body shot from Louis.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Manik is trying to pull guard but Louis has him pressed against the cage.
Manik stalls.
Louis lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Manik backwards.
Louis scores with a nice hook to the head.

It looks like Manu Manik has been cut.
A left hand lands to the body for Louis.
Louis gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Manik.
Louis lands a body shot in the clinch.
Manik looks winded!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Louis lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Louis scores with a jab to the body.
Manik closes the distance looking to clinch
and Louis counters with a straight right hand.
The crowd cheers as Louis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Manik doesn't seem phased though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Manik moves to clinch but Louis breaks away
and Louis counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Louis is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Louis scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Manik tries to clinch up
and Louis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Manik is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Louis closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Manik out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
