Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Victorio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yosh Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Victorio might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Guano Apes - Open your eyes. Jonny Victorio has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victorio feints and then cracks Hammer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hammer down.
Hammer wants to clinch but Victorio slips to the side
and Victorio counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hammer misses with a series of wild punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hammer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Victorio scores with a nice strike.
Hammer wants to clinch up but Victorio keeps it at a distance.
Victorio is looking to counter punch.
Hammer tries to clinch but Victorio moves away
and Victorio counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hammer falls off balance throwing a combination
and Victorio counters with a good, hard body kick but Hammer shrugs it off.

Victorio closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hammer's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hammer tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Hammer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Victorio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Victorio seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hammer for as long as he can get away with.

Victorio is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Victorio will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Victorio content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Victorio's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Victorio throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Hammer has his hands clasped together but Victorio breaks the hold and Hammer is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Victorio!
