Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Seery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Krause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seery's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, An Irish Pub Song. Krause has chosen Heart of a Champion as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, James Krause!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seery falls off balance throwing a combination

and Krause counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Seery!

Krause is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Seery knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
You can see the frustration on Seery's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Krause thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Seery is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Krause tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Krause has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Krause swings around for an armbar but Seery sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Krause's guard.

Krause had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Seery defends it easily.

Krause has his foot on Seery's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Seery works his way back into a safe position though.

Krause is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Seery defends well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Seery is controlling the pace.
Krause wants to get back to full guard but Seery has passed into side control.
Krause wants to control but Seery postures up.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Krause might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Seery haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

James Krause dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Seery has managed to clinch.
Krause jumps guard but Seery stands there with Krause around his waist. Krause gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Still in the clinch, Seery scores with a nice short uppercut.
Krause tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Seery smiles and moves away.
Seery keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.


It looks like James Krause has been cut.

Seery clinches up with Krause and pushes him back against the cage.
Krause fails to pull guard.
Patrick Seery has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Krause.
Seery lands on the inside with an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Krause jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Seery walks away with a smile on his face. Krause gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Krause is trying to pull guard but Seery turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Seery drops Krause with a huge uppercut! Krause drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Seery is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Patrick Seery!
During a confident post fight interview, Patrick Seery thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, James Krause stepped up to the mic, saying 'I guess Ferris was the better man tonight. I hope we fight again soon. That title will be mine.'.
